1. Welcome to Success Plan Financial Wellness
Welcome to Success Plan Financial Wellness.
Our mission is to help individuals and families improve their financial wellness through greater organization, understanding, and confidence in their financial decisions.
Our ecosystem includes The Success Plan, a personal financial wellness platform designed to help individuals and families organize their financial information, understand their current circumstances, establish goals, and manage their financial plans over time.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") explain the rules and responsibilities associated with accessing our website and using The Success Plan platform.
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using The Success Plan, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you should not register for or use the platform.
2. About Our Services
Success Plan Financial Wellness provides digital financial wellness technology, educational resources, and related services.
The Success Plan is a personal financial wellness platform that allows clients to organize and manage information relating to their financial circumstances and objectives.
The platform may include tools and features relating to income, expenses, assets, liabilities, insurance, investments, retirement planning, financial goals, and other areas of personal financial wellness.
Features and functionality may evolve as we continue to improve the platform.
The Success Plan is intended to support personal financial understanding, organization, and decision-making. It does not guarantee any particular financial outcome.
The Success Plan is a technology platform, not a financial advisory service.
Success Plan Financial Wellness does not sell financial or insurance products through The Success Plan platform.
3. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms & Conditions apply to visitors using the Success Plan Financial Wellness website and individuals who register for or use The Success Plan personal financial wellness platform.
Throughout these Terms, "Success Plan Financial Wellness," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the provider of the applicable website or services.
Individual client memberships for The Success Plan are provided and administered by The Success Plan Inc., a Canadian corporation.
Financial advisors, employers, collegiate organizations, and other interested parties may request information about participating in the Success Plan Financial Wellness ecosystem.
Submitting an inquiry or application does not establish a partnership, professional relationship, or right to access our advisor or organizational systems.
Access to the Success Plan Financial Wellness advisor systems, including the Advisor CRM and Advisor Operating System™, is not included with an individual client membership. Such access is available only through separate authorization and a written agreement with Success Plan Financial Wellness.
Access to an individual client's financial plan remains subject to the client's authorization and completion of the advisor connection process.
Any advisor or organizational relationships are governed by their respective separate written agreements.
4. Account Registration and Eligibility
To register for The Success Plan, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or have any authorization required by applicable law.
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate registration information and maintain a valid email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and other account credentials.
You agree not to share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals or allow others to use your account in violation of these Terms.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should notify us promptly.
We may require reasonable identity verification when assisting with account access, security concerns, or requests involving personal information.
5. Your Membership
The Success Plan is offered through an annual membership subscription.
The applicable membership price and any relevant promotional terms will be presented during registration or purchase.
Your membership provides access to the platform and its available features for the applicable subscription period, subject to these Terms.
Unless otherwise specified during purchase, memberships renew automatically at the end of each annual subscription period.
By purchasing an automatically renewing membership, you authorize the applicable annual membership fee to be charged to your designated payment method until you cancel future renewals.
Membership fees and applicable taxes will be displayed as required during the purchase process.
6. Payments and Billing
Membership payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processing provider.
When registering for a paid membership, you are directed to a secure Stripe payment page to enter your payment information.
Success Plan Financial Wellness does not directly collect or store your complete credit card number or payment security code.
You may update your payment method through your profile within The Success Plan. Payment information is managed and processed through Stripe.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method for your membership.
If a renewal payment is declined or cannot be completed, your membership may expire or access may be interrupted.
We may make reasonable attempts to notify you of payment issues and provide an opportunity to update your payment information.
7. Automatic Renewals and Price Changes
Annual memberships automatically renew unless future renewals have been cancelled before the applicable renewal date.
The renewal charge will be based on the membership price applicable to your renewal, subject to any legally required notice or consent.
We may change membership prices from time to time.
When a price change affects an existing subscription, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law before the change takes effect.
If you do not wish to continue at the applicable renewal price, you may cancel future automatic renewals before your next renewal date.
8. Cancelling Your Membership
You may cancel future automatic renewal of your membership at any time through your profile within The Success Plan.
Cancelling automatic renewal does not immediately terminate your current paid membership.
You will continue to have access to The Success Plan until the end of your existing paid annual membership period.
Once your membership reaches its expiration date, your access to paid platform features may end unless the membership is renewed or reactivated.
Cancelling your membership does not automatically result in immediate deletion of your financial plan information.
Information retention and deletion are addressed in Section 10 and our Privacy Policy.
9. Seven-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds
We want you to feel confident in your decision to become a member of The Success Plan.
All new individual memberships include a seven-day money-back guarantee.
If you are not satisfied with your membership for any reason, you may request a full refund of your initial membership fee within seven days of your membership activation.
To receive your refund, contact Success Plan Financial Wellness within the seven-day guarantee period.
Approved refunds will be processed through Stripe to the original payment method.
After the seven-day guarantee period, membership fees are generally non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Cancelling automatic renewal prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily result in a prorated refund for the remaining portion of an existing paid membership.
This guarantee applies to the initial purchase of a new individual membership and does not apply to subsequent annual renewals unless otherwise expressly stated.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Membership Expiration and Data Retention
We understand that financial plans represent important personal information and that clients may wish to return to the platform after a membership expires.
When a membership expires, your account information and financial plan data are generally retained for up to six months.
This retention period allows you to reactivate your membership without having to recreate your financial plan.
If your membership is not reactivated within the applicable retention period, your account information and financial plan data are scheduled for deletion from our systems in accordance with our data retention procedures.
You may also request earlier deletion of your account and financial plan information by contacting us.
Our technical team handles authorized deletion requests manually, subject to applicable legal obligations and technical backup procedures.
Certain limited records, including payment and transaction records, may be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by applicable law.

11. Your Financial Information
The financial information you enter into The Success Plan remains your information.
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and ongoing maintenance of the information entered into your plan.
The platform uses the information you provide to organize and present financial information, calculations, projections, and planning results.
The quality and usefulness of those results depend on the information entered and the assumptions used.
Success Plan Financial Wellness does not routinely review, verify, or monitor the accuracy of individual client financial plans.
We do not sell, trade, or use the personal financial information contained in your plan for third-party advertising, marketing, or commercial exploitation.
You authorize us to store and process the information you provide to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and support the platform, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of your personal information. This authorization does not transfer ownership of your financial plan data to us.
12. Connecting With a Financial Advisor
The Success Plan may be used independently or with the assistance of an independent financial advisor.
Connecting with an advisor is entirely optional.
If you choose to connect with an advisor, you must add the advisor to your account, and the advisor must complete the connection process before access to your financial plan is established.
Financial advisors do not automatically receive access to your account or financial information.
Once connected, your advisor may view your financial plan through the authorized advisor platform.
Success Plan Financial Wellness provides the technology that supports this connection but is not a party to the independent professional relationship between you and your advisor.
You are responsible for deciding whether to establish or continue a relationship with an independent advisor.
13. Financial Information and Planning Results
The Success Plan is designed to support financial awareness, organization, education, and planning.
Information, calculations, projections, illustrations, and other results generated by the platform are based on the information entered and the assumptions applied.
Actual financial circumstances, market conditions, interest rates, investment performance, tax rules, and other factors may change over time.
Accordingly, platform results are estimates or planning illustrations where applicable and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future outcomes.
The platform does not replace individualized professional advice where such advice is appropriate.
You are responsible for evaluating your own financial decisions and seeking independent professional assistance when necessary.
14. Acceptable Use of the Platform
You agree to use our website and The Success Plan only for lawful and authorized purposes.
You may not:
- Access or attempt to access another user's account without authorization.
- Share or transfer your membership access in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to bypass security measures or interfere with the operation of the platform.
- Introduce malicious software or engage in activities that could compromise our systems.
- Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit our software, content, or proprietary technology without authorization.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to obtain the platform's underlying source code, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use automated methods to extract information or interfere with platform performance without authorization.
- Use the platform in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable action to protect the platform, its users, and our business.
15. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Success Plan platform, its software, design, functionality, systems, processes, content, branding, trademarks, and associated intellectual property are owned by or licensed to the applicable Success Plan entities.
These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your membership grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use The Success Plan for your own personal financial wellness purposes during your authorized membership period.
Your membership does not transfer ownership of the platform, software, technology, or intellectual property to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, license, sell, or commercially exploit our proprietary materials without prior written authorization.
Your personal financial information remains yours. Our platform and proprietary technology remain ours.
16. Privacy and Security
Protecting personal information is an important part of our commitment to clients.
Our collection, use, storage, disclosure, retention, and deletion of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
We use Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, with designated Canadian and United States hosting environments for accounts registered through the respective platforms.
We take reasonable measures designed to protect the security and integrity of our systems.
However, no internet-based platform can guarantee uninterrupted service or absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and using reasonable precautions when accessing your account.

17. Platform Availability and Improvements
We work to provide a reliable and effective financial wellness platform.
From time to time, we may update, maintain, improve, modify, or replace features of The Success Plan.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of scheduled maintenance, system updates, technical difficulties, internet connectivity issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may also introduce new functionality or discontinue features as our services evolve.
Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice of significant changes that materially affect paid membership access or functionality.
We do not guarantee that the platform will be available without interruption or error at all times.
18. Suspension or Termination of Access
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to an account when reasonably necessary to:
- Address suspected unauthorized access or security threats.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity.
- Respond to a material violation of these Terms.
- Comply with applicable legal requirements.
- Protect the rights, security, or operation of our platform and its users.
Where appropriate and reasonably practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Termination or suspension for a material violation may affect access to the platform before the end of a paid membership period.
Any refund or other remedy required by applicable law will remain available.
Account information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
19. No Guarantee of Financial Outcomes
The Success Plan is designed to help users better understand and organize their financial circumstances.
We do not guarantee that use of the platform will result in increased wealth, debt reduction, improved investment performance, successful retirement planning, or any other specific financial outcome.
Financial decisions involve individual circumstances and risks.
You acknowledge that information generated by the platform is dependent on the information supplied and does not guarantee the accuracy of future projections or results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
We aim to provide a dependable and useful service.
However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and platform are provided on an "as available" basis, without guarantees that all features will operate continuously, without interruption, or without error.
We do not warrant that every calculation, projection, or planning result will be suitable for every user's individual circumstances.
This section does not limit any statutory warranties, consumer rights, or other protections that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Success Plan Financial Wellness and the applicable service provider will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or platform, including losses resulting from decisions made in reliance on inaccurate or incomplete information entered by a user.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to a paid membership will not exceed the membership fees paid by the affected user during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other matters for which liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces any non-waivable consumer protection rights.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be made available on our website, together with its effective date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide advance notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
Material changes will not automatically remove rights already established under an existing paid membership where doing so would be prohibited by law.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may discontinue use of the platform and cancel future membership renewals.
23. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the relevant service provider and transaction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in the user's jurisdiction.
If a concern or disagreement arises regarding your membership or use of The Success Plan, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter fairly and promptly.
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to pursue a complaint or remedy through a court, regulatory authority, or other process where such rights are protected by applicable law.
24. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a particular provision does not mean that we permanently waive our right to enforce it.
These Terms, together with the applicable membership purchase terms and referenced Privacy Policy, describe the general conditions governing individual use of The Success Plan.
Separate written agreements govern advisor, employer, collegiate, and other organizational relationships where applicable.
